January update..

Here's the graph on the month and the PT results...

There is also €367 won at the .50/1 deep stacked tables on B2B (These are not tracked by PT ) and I'm also +$320 in PLO this month. (Really need to get PT for PLO )

Now obviously I'm not happy with these results. Didn't play much (Mostly due to moving sites) And also my results were not as good as I had hoped when I started the month.

My goals for Febuary are quite simple.

1. Play at least 60,000 hands.
2. Net a profit of at least $3,000
3. Move up to NL200 fulltime by the end of the month.

All these are easily achievable I think, as long as nothing horrid happens early in the month causing me not to want to play. For example, last two hockey games the Toronto Maple Leafs have been completely robbed by the officials and the "war room" in Toronto. If that continues I may be put on perma tilt.

First full day at pokerstars..

Well, today was certainly... Interesting.. Let's get right 2 the graph.

And here are my PT stats.

I would like to take this moment to Tenbob, for suggesting that I play full ring. Thanks a lot, jerk. (Just kidding, full ring was really soft, just for some reason my hands did not hold up there)

Overall I'm pretty happy with the results. It kind of sucks that I was at +$700 at hand 1700 ish, then ended up only +$460 on the day, but that's Variance I guess. As you can see I didn't lose many big pots in the first 1700 hands, so some bad beats were destined to come. (Right ? right.)

Anyways, the big pots of the day.

http://www.pokerhand.org/?1981859 Oh man, many thanks to "gantboy"... I guess I should have folded to his minraise, but I knew there was a good chance my 8 was good as this guy was pretty crazy, and if I did end up hitting an 8.. and he had literally anything, than I was stacking him.
http://www.pokerhand.org/?1981874 Pretty standard, player seemed pretty good at first but was ever so clearly tilting.
http://www.pokerhand.org/?1981893 Ahhhh, my favourite hand of the day.

Now to the bad ones..
http://www.pokerhand.org/?1981900 Hmm, I guess I could have raised more on the turn... He had called my flop raise which means he is at least interested in that flop.. But he still was not gettin correct odds for his call.
http://www.pokerhand.org/?1981907 Ahh my buddy "gantboy"... again maybe a bit light on the turn.. (Maybe a leak of mine ?? will explore that a bit more actually)
http://www.pokerhand.org/?1981912 Pretty st andard, maybe a loose 3bet call... But that's how I roll.
And about a gajillion short stack suckouts. (All mostly at full ring.)

One day at poker stars.. and..

Generally, in my opinion the poker players at Stars are a lot more aggressive preflop than on B2B. I was getting 3bet very lightly a whole lot today. Also less passive than on B2B, On B2B just about every single Cbet I made would get floated.

All in all, a good day. +$458 and Silver Star status. Now onto Gold star, then ultimately Supernova (Should be able to do it... assuming I stay on poker stars)

Woohoo finally set up at poker stars!

I finally finally got all the depositing things sorted out. (Only took me about 3-4 days.) Boggles my mind how big sites like Poker Stars and Party Poker that make millions cannot simply add a live support chat feature. Yet the tiny B2B site Potraiser which probably doesn't have much more than 300 active users has live support chat. (The live support was really nice too, Linus went out if his way to help me whenever I needed it.)

Okay so I only played 250 hands today. WTF 250 hands?! Yes, 250 hands.. I did not sleep at all last night (Smart move, dumbass) so by 7:00pm when I finally got my money into poker stars, I was obviously not feeling 100%. But had an urge to play, so I loaded up only 3 tables. Here is the only really notable hand, http://www.pokerhand.org/?1974803 Was pretty basic, the guy was a fish I knew I was ahead 100% of the way, and also knew he would not fold his KJ/KQ/ maybe even mid pockets. (No Idea what his stats were as I've now got to get PAHud... since i'm finally on a site that PAHud supports!)

Here is my first graph on poker stars!

I'm pleased with the results, was not anywhere near 100% and only played 2-3 tables for maybe an hour or so. Tommorow I should have a full day, hopefully 2,500 hands if things go well.

Ahh! I finally got a good backround for my 24" monitor! (Future wife #1 obv.)

I need poker!

Moving sites has been a bigger pain in the ass than I had thought it would be... I was going to open up a new FTP account and get the 27% rakeback deal with them, But since moneybookers is my only method of depositing they found out that I already had a real money account on FTP and closed it.

So FTP is out of the question, and so I've decided on moving to Pokerstars. Problem is the limit on the transaction is too low (hidden brag obv.). I emailed them asking about increasing the limits that I can deposit via moneybookers, and they replied saying that the limits were increased, however they are still way too low (Hidden brag #2 obv.) So now I'm awaiting a reply from my (3rd?) email. I think they will need some sort of verification wether it be a phone call or scanning and sending them some sort of ID.

Anyways, long story short, I have been without poker for a weekish and it is driving me crazy.

So, since there is no poker to talk about.. I give you this.

Catherine Bell, the only reason I use to watch JAG.

Minor Downswing and Changing sites.

Lost 4-6 buyins in the last few days at NL100, not much to talk about... Few coolers few bad beats, and a bit of bad play mixed in I'm sure.

Time has come for me to leave my beloved B2B network. The bonus that I had there is not as good as it was and there just isn't enough traffic on that site. Table selection is one of the things I am a bit of a nit about, so I need a bigger selection of tables to choose from.

If anyone know's of a good site with weak players, lots of traffic and decent rakeback, hit me up with a comment or something.

Leafs Talk

The leafs snapped their 5 game losing streak vs the Carolina hurricanes tonight.... I really feel bad for the Leafs, Our team has looked good this year. They've shown the ability to beat many of the top teams in the NHL but it seem's it's just some bad variance kicking in. Lot of pucks bouncing weirdly, bad calls by referee's which in turn leads to some bad play. In my Opinion the Leafs have the ability to play a great game and compete, the Variance has just caused them to tilt.

Also, Ferguson has got to go already.

Minor heater

2008 did not start as great as I had hoped, put in nearly 5k hands at NL50 on January 1st and had hardly anything to show for it. But man oh man did things pick up, Yesterday I played on these new deep stack tables on B2B.. They are great, you buyin for 200bb and there is an anti everyhand. Within an hour I was up €360.. I decided to leave even tho the game was still very fishy, as I now had a €560 stack and two other people had €500 stacks as well. I would post some hands from the session but unfortunately poker tracker can't read them. (So that also mean's they will not show up on my graph)

Today I played a bunch of NL100, the normal tables.... and it started out really bad going down nearly a buyin pretty fast.. But I picked it up.. There were not too many huge pots, but a lot of small pots.

Here is the only big one.. Ahhh, call off 150bb with an underpair ?? and a flush draw that may not be good ? So kind of you good sir. http://www.pokerhand.org/?1917079

Graph on the day.. Not bad eh ? €460 in a day.. I want to make sexy time to this graph.

Here is my graph so far of 2008

Keep in mind that I'm +€360 at the deep stack tables that arn't tracked.

Anyways just wanted to share my success as of late... Will try and get more hand histories up later. Leafs vs Anaheim tonight! GO LEAFS GO.

Blog #1 - Bloggin it up a notch

Alright! Starting my own poker blog... Which is probably one of the most retarded idea's I've ever had as I'm a horrible writer, but I will try my best.

Let's kick things off with a bit of information about myself. I've been playing poker for about a year or two, but only began taking it Really seriously about 4 months ago. When I decided to get serious I deposited €200 into a site on the B2B network called "Potraiser". The client was not all that great and it definitly lacked traffic, But I had a really realy sick deal with them.. Which worked out to over 60% rakeback at the low limits that I was playing.Fast Forward to now. 4 Months later my Roll is €4,835 and am currently playing NL50~NL200.

Here is last month's graph of mostly 6~12 tabling NL50 with a bit of NL100 mixed in.

I did not play as many hands as I had wanted too. Was on quite the heater (But was afraid it would end if I played too many hands.. yeah I know.. retarded)

As you can see I play a pretty standard 16/10 TAG game at 6max, as it's all that's really needed. Ran quite hot (And didn't put in nearly enough hands but oh well) Also keep in mind this is in €... so, $_$

Would like to take this time to congratulate the Canadian World Jr team for taking down gold for the 4th year in a row.
